Identità Golose 2018, prestigious international gastro guide, was presented last week in Excelsior Hotel Gallia in Milano. This was the 14th paper edition, and 3rd digital, presented once again by the creator of this project, Paolo Marchio, who proudly pointed out some of the interesting facts about this year’s edition.

More than 100 experts worked on the guide which now includes over 900 restaurants, 660 from Italy and 240 from other countries, with 220 of them making their first appearance in Identità Golose. What makes this guide special and different is the fact that it’s not evaluating every restaurant individually, but tries instead to present all the best national and international gastronomy can provide. The Identità Golose 2018 guide also includes three Croatian, with San Rocco Gourmet Restaurant being one of them.

Chef patron of Osteria Francescana in Modena, Massimo Botura, also presented his project of international solidarity called “Food for soul” which has the purpose of preventing food wastage and promote social awareness about hunger. According to his statements, chefs are the ones who should be taking key role in this project.

After the official part, Cerea family, Chicco Francesco and Bobo from restaurant Da Vittorio, proud owners of three Michelin stars, had the honors of organizing banquet for all the guests, including more than 500 experienced chefs who attended this Identità Golose 2018 presentation.
