Michelin, one of the oldest and most respected gastronomy guides with more than a century of experience in restaurant selection, has finally recognized Croatian restaurants as part of the worldwide Michelin family which comprises more than 20,000 members in 28 different countries. This year, for the first time, 35 exceptional restaurants all around Croatia were included in the digital edition of the 2017 Michelin Guide.
San Rocco gourmet restaurant is proud to be included in the selected group of restaurants and to meet all the high gastronomy standards of this renowned guide. The owner of the restaurant Teo Fernetich, also the chairman of the JRE association in Croatia, was the one to greet the representatives of Michelin and proudly receive the Michelin Plate, the official award for becoming a part of the Michelin Guide.
This special award means that San Rocco restaurant has passed rigorous Michelin evaluation, the system of which is based on culinary art, creativity, quality of ingredients, and money to value relation. The unique menu of San Rocco gourmet restaurant includes local and traditional Istrian specialties such as truffles, game meat, locally caught fish, and mushrooms, all turned into delicious meals by our talented and experienced chefs.
