LECCINO
As one of the most widespread varieties in the world, the Italian leccino has excellently adapted to the Istrian climate, and in Brtonigla acquired additional quality and freshness as well as special properties. The oil is dark green in colour, full of flavour, features mild bitterness and spiciness. Depending on the harvest period, leccino can have a very fresh, fruity smell, but also a mild taste, sweetly rounded, without a strong pronounced aroma. It goes well with light dishes.
